We've been Pink Floyd'd....again!

Oh! the joys of living in Shrewton and on the RAT RUN.....All of these are recent and within a week of each other, one of which was hit twice in a two week period, having been repaired by the house holder first time around!   He now has to wait for the terracotta capping tiles to arrive and make the repair again, at his own expense, because they take a pride in where they live!

Sadly, this one is an original wall built possibly over 100 years ago and probably cannot be replaced like for like.   As I understand it, the home owner chased after the driver of the 12 Tonne horse box - which incidentally, was exceeding the weight restriction of 7.5 tonnes on the B3083 and her response was.....

 "So! it's only a wall"!

And here we have yet another situation just last week, along the same stretch of road - the B3083, going toward Winterbourne Stoke....who will pay here I wonder, since the MOD bus driver having stopped to allow another rat runner through, then drove off, forgetting he had a back end.   So! a hit and run before the number plate could be noted by the home owner or neighbour's close by......

A song comes to mind by....
Go on....have another listen, it's been a while
