Watch out for our Peaceful Protest Friday 16th......

Due to the numbers of vehicles using Shrewton High Street to avoid A303 queues past Stonehenge, STAG are planning a "Peaceful Protest" 😁.....  So.... if you're intending to head to the West Country this coming Friday 16th between 1500 and 1600, please keep a weather eye out when approaching Rollestone Cross Roads - after the Packway/Larkhill.   Look out for our banners requesting that you

TURN LEFT and use the A360 through Shrewton.... 

 

The huge amount of traffic Rat Running through our village is not only a danger to our lives but structural damage to older properties is also becoming a problem, as is litter, traffic fumes and frustration on all fronts. 

Our "protest" is all very tongue in cheek and we're hoping for a good turn out from local people with their made up banners and maybe we can even sing you a song or two!
