STAG apologises to General Manager at Stonehenge Visitor's Centre!

This blog is a general update of things happening with STAG: Stonehenge Traffic Action Group!   Sometimes....there's nothing happening for a few days or even weeks and then..... (please excuse the pun) the flood gates open, and so they did at the end of February.   Apart from getting on with our own lives, around the same time we found out that John Glen MP for Salisbury, had secured the 90 minute debate at Westminster Hall and of course, we were delighted to receive this news, which basically sent us all into a spin.  Watch Bustard had been out on the A303 gathering useful information and the Stag Team continue to attend meetings of various kinds.  One such meeting earlier in the month was with the attendance of the General Manager of Stonehenge Visitor's Centre - Kate Davies - a very successful meeting.....see my previous blog: "New Management at Stonehenge making an Effort".   While e-mails were flying around our team as to our presence at, and actions following the 90 minuted debate, in comes this letter from Kate Davies referring to our earlier successful meeting but......unfortunately, in all the furore, it was missed off the blog, and for this we apologise to her and to anyone who regularly keeps up with this blog!  The letter is precise and informative as to what English Heritage have/will do to amend previous faux pas.......

We at STAG hope that this will set the record straight and that we can continue to build on this new and  better relationship for the same successful end which is to improve the A303 around Stonehenge and on down the A303/A30/A358 corridor to allow free movement of traffic whether it be local, business or tourist!

Please help us do this by signing our Parliamentary petition at:
