Meeting at "Stagman Towers!" Shrewton.

Way back on 22nd October 2013, I posted up "Meetings Bl---y Meetings" and STAG have had many more since.   This morning's meeting, held at "Stagman Towers" in Shrewton,
was a full storming, ideas, and going forward type meeting.  We had 8 of us around Stagman's table and the coffee was flowing!!  We discussed the many points to put to English Heritage at.....another meeting next week, so that in the future - maybe, just maybe, we can all pull together for the one aim of getting the A303 dualled past Stonehenge. There was talk about how we can involve the towns and villages all the way down the A303 corridor, getting them to come on board.   This will give us more clout when the Government decide where the money will be spent. So, basically we now have in place, some short, medium, and long term objections.    Obviously we in this area, need the support of www.wiltshire.gov.uk  BIG TIME! to help in STAG's efforts around Stonehenge...as with 12 miles of traffic held up on this section of the A303 last August Bank holiday....this summer, nobody's getting to "The Highway to Sun"!
Our new web page will be up and running very soon where you can sign the petition direct: www.sh2.co.uk and or use the links to this blog or: http://bypasswinterbournestoke.blogspot.co.uk and keep up with what's happening around STAG.  And so! back to the meeting and we at STAG have a few "haunches" up our sleeve....keep watching for our next event....coming soon...well......when the weather improves....think...Bradley Wiggins.... Carriage Driving.....and the Soap Box Derby....what fun!
