A peaceful protest took place on 17th & 18th December to coincide with the opening of the New Visitors Centre/Tin Shed! The reason for our protest was because of the closure of the A344 before dualling the A303 So!..The wheels on the cars went round and round, the wheels on the cars went round and round....and so did the coffin!
I lost count how many times we circumnavigated Longbarrow and Airmans Cross roundabouts, but it was such fun! 
Thanks to everyone who gave up their time to turn out on both days....On the morning of 17th, I believe we had a cortege of 18 cars and 9 on
the 18th too, with balloons flying, signs on all the cars and loud tasteless music playing....PC Plod was so pleased with our behaviour, we got lots of smiles and thumbs up! The Japanese taking photos of us and even the Wiltshire Council boys, doing the dotted lines at Longbarrow took photos...dotted lines?...there in lies another problem!!!
