As you will have read from previous posts, they have used up £50,000 of that money already, to set up their case. https://stonehengealliance.org.uk/ and as we all know.....employing solicitors - especially London ones....don't come cheap!!!
They say they want a longer tunnel to take it outside the World Heritage Site (WHS) but don't say how long that should be, where it should start and where it would finish and nor do they say who will pay for this "longer tunnel". So! if they are successful from their "day in court" 23rd to 25th June.....we have a wee saying in Glasgow and that's: "The Baw's oan the Slates"!! which means we're back to the expense of consultations, a further 15 years of re-assessment of the A303 Amesbury to Berwick Down scheme, where it relates to the WHS. What they fail to take on board is the elephant in the room 😂 and that elephant is the present A303 which runs right through the middle of their beloved World Heritage Site, splitting it in two. It needs to be removed and get the traffic moving at that section, which in turn will help the economy to the West Country, stop the queues and......prevent....

Save Stonehenge World Heritage Site - now to be known in my spiel as the SS don't have a view of alternatives: the abomination that begat the SS had said "no tunnel"/"a longer tunnel, at least 3.5km in length starting at Folly Bottom"/"destruction of previously undiscovered archaeology" etc.
What the SS are aiming solely to do, by presenting, one assumes, further falsehoods, is to 'persuade' High Legal Authority that DfT made an illegal judgement on the (note well) recommendations of the National Infrastructure Planning Authority.
They have a Plan A but deliberately ignore the broader implications, in the same way their forebears, Stonehenge Alliance, presented a shed-load of falsehoods to the Investigating Body, whilst failing to withdraw them when presented with the facts, as opposed to either warped conjecture, or downright lies....
